Strawberry Farm

Easter weekend we had a free Saturday. Normally we all have dance class on Saturday mornings but because of the holiday weekend we had the day off. We’ve been wanting to go strawberry picking at a local farm for a couple of years but haven’t had the chance. This day we surprised the kids and loaded up to go picking. Because we’ve had such a warm early spring the strawberries were ready early.

The kids were really excited to be there.

It only took about 15 minutes to pick two big baskets full of strawberries. They were so big and juicy. They made wonderful strawberry shortcake and now we have a bunch in our freezer for later.

Wow! Wish the strawberry patch we go to looked like this. The strawberries look great--but the kids look better :) Mom
