Toile Tuesday

Pretty Organizer over at Pretty Organized Palace is hosting the TOILE PARTY!!!! Yea!!! As I posted earlier this month I was pretty ambitious with my projects. I will say that my procrastination has been in full swing. Peanut's curtain has been done for over a week now but I loved my other fabric so much I was quite nervous to cut into it. Here are my first tentative cuts. It's just so pretty. Here are my curtains waiting to get hung.
However, after working hard all day today here are some pictures of my living room. I think it's progressing nicely. To the left of the loveseat is our front door. Here's a lovely little addition to the loveseat. Hi Miracle. Here is Peanut's curtain. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted but she loves it.
Now on to some pretty pictures I found on the internet. I love these curtains and bedset from Pottery Barn. But the prettiest, sweetest bit of toile I found was this gorgeous bassinet. What baby wouldn't sleep peacefully all night long in this sweetness. I'm in. love. sigh. Want to know the catch? This lovely little bed is $800. Can you believe it?

Love that bassinet! Too bad babies only spend about a day and a half in those before needing more space. I'd probably leave it out anyway, just because it's so pretty! :-)

Great job on your curtain!

That bassinet made my mouth water until you said the price. Ouch. But fun to look at, anyway.

Great job on the curtains!

I have that green toile in my girls room. I LOVE it, with a very delicate pink on the walls. So, shabby chic!

Thanks for leaving a comment...come back anytime!

Love all the toile!! I love seeing how everyone uses it in their decor. And I love the bassinet. But $800? Who in their right mind would pay that much. I guess I would if I were rich. lol.

Oh. My. Goodness. I love your black and white toile curtains. I just did a laundry room makeover using some toile and you've just inspired me! I need to make a black and white toile curtain (no sew of course!) to finish off the room. I'm so glad I stopped by... I'm loving the toile party. Great inspiration.

I've been keeping my eye on that bedding from P.B! I want it sooo bad! Too bad the man doesn't agree with me that we need our 1,000th comforter for the bed. :( Someday..

Love the curtains- too cute!

$800 for a bassinet skirt? Oh my, can't wait till the first time the baby shoots some sort of bodily fluid all over it. Who buys such things? It IS gorgeous, but I'd make it with more $1 a yard toile from WalMart.

Lovely post... you do very nice sewing, and I love the pink window treatment, it's charming! Great toile post!

AHHHH! Rachel, *I* want to sleep in that basinette!!!!!! Beautiful! Your curtains look great, mama, seriously. I love the girlie pink toile, and the one for your living room is so up my alley - I love all things black and white. Now I want more toile. My poor hubby...fabric shopping for the fam tomorrow!
